Digital Media Consultation for Therapists & Mental Health Organizations
I occasionally consult with licensed clinicians, associate therapists, and mental health organizations seeking thoughtful, ethical guidance on digital media, online presence, and public-facing communication in today’s complex and often distorted professional landscape.
You’re likely here because you were referred by a colleague or found the clinician-only link hidden at the bottom of my Linktree. I do not publicly promote this work.
This isn’t work I’m looking to do at scale, but rather a set of skills I maintain and enjoy using through occasional, value-aligned collaborations. If helpful, you can read more about my background here.
Consultation Focus
Understanding how self-help culture and algorithmic incentives shape mental-health discourse
Positioning a professional voice without oversimplification or performative certainty
Choosing platforms intentionally and/or deciding not to participate (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, X, Substack, YouTube, etc.)
Practical discussion around platform setup and logistics (when helpful)
Overwhelm / Where to begin.
Other areas on a case-by-case basis.
Fit
This work tends to be a good fit for those interested in swimming upstream against an online landscape increasingly shaped by self-help culture, algorithmic incentives, and distorted mental health discourse—who want to participate (or not participate) in ways that preserve their clinical values, judgement, and professional identity.
⚠️ Note: If you’re looking for help on deliberately exploiting people’s pain points and scaling such tactics with manufactured virality (rage bait, etc) or selling though “monetization funnels”, I can already tell you we’re not a good fit.
